Graeme Robertson

Intrasia Group, Chairman

Graeme Robertson, educated in Australia, has been primarily involved in pioneering the development and managing major mining, energy and infrastructure operations in Australia and Asia until 2005. He was Managing Director of New Hope Corporation in Australia, President and founder of Adaro Indonesia (one of the world’s largest producing coal mines) and Indonesia Bulk Terminal. He is a recipient of the ASEAN Development and Millennium 500 Awards in 1996 and 2000 respectively for his contribution to growing significant commercial operations in developing nations in Asia.

In 2005 he established Intrasia Group with interests in financial and corporate services, mining, healthy rice production and commercial properties. Intrasia Group interests include mining operations in Africa, being one of the principal shareholders of AfrAsia Bank in Mauritius, producing Mighty Rice for healthy eating and providing financial and corporate services internationally from Mauritius.

Graeme is a humanitarian with interests in poverty alleviation and health improvement. He is Chairman of the AfrAsia Foundation providing education to children from impoverished backgrounds. A graduate of University of New South Wales in Sociology, he is a Founding Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Mauritian Institute of Directors.

He resides in Singapore where Intrasia Group is established, and Mauritius which is the centre for operations of the Group.

Kareena Neisius

Executive Director

Kareena Neisius holds an LL.M. in Law from Paris II (Pantheon-Assas) University. After spending several years in management roles, Mrs. Neisius joined Intrasia Group as an Executive Director. In this capacity, she has successfully established and manages the group business activities in Mauritius.

Kareena sits on several board, including the Mining and Energy Club, Intrasia Investments Limited and Intrasia Management (Mauritius) Ltd.

Kareena is also the president of Chaines des Rotisseurs, Mauritius and Vice President of Australian Chamber of Commerce of Mauritius.

Aslam Kanowah

CEO, Intrasia Management (Mauritius) Limited

Aslam is an experienced finance professional, banker and accountant with over 27 years track record in the financial sector including over 18 years in the domestic and offshore banking sector.

As from 2020, Aslam is the CEO of Intrasia Management (Mauritius) Limited, a duly licensed management company by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) since 2018. With his extensive experience in business development and strategic planning, he holds the position of Chief Operating Officer in Intrasia Investments Limited where he manages the investment operations of the company.

Aslam in his capacity of CEO of Intrasia Management (Mauritius) limited also regularly advices Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Multinationals.

Aslam holds an MBA in International Finance & Banking and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a member of Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD).

Anju Kiranee Ghose

Non Executive Director

Anju is a holder of Bachelor of Laws with honours (LLB (Hons) from University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. She was sworn in as an Attorney in 2001 and has been a practicing attorney for the last 19 years. She heads the Ghose Chamber law firm which specialises in civil and commercial litigations, drafting of legal opinions and preparation of contracts.

Francois Wertheimer

Non Executive Director

Francois has been working in Asia for the last 25 years and is the founding partner of Capital Asia Partners. Previously he was Group CFO of a major diversified Asian conglomerate. He also served as the Head of Investment Banking at BNP Paribas for South East Asia and HSBC for Indonesia. He is a current Director of AfrAsia Bank in Mauritius.
